So I have decided to upgrade and "pimp" out my blog, yes... "PIMP" out my blog. I have made an entirely new blog which is linked with my actual website and use the same company that is behind my website as well. :) It's a lot more fancy than this one and I am very pleased at the features it offers. The entire blog was designed by me though and hope you all find it easy to navigate through. Just wanted to give a heads up that I will no longer be writing my blogs on this site (i will miss you old blogger account) but out with the old and in with the new. So please click the link below to check out my BRAND SPANKIN NEW BLOG where I will now be writing all my crazy thoughts and updated work/projects I have been up to. Thank you! :) http://www.shannonsasakiphotography.com/blog/

Had a BLAST with Nikki + Rich on their trash the dress session. SO lucky to have my good friend Aaron Mizushima apart of my team who has agreed to be my one and only 2nd photographer/partner in crime!! Because of him I now can offer some sick underwater trash the dress or engagement sessions! We all had a blast doing this shoot together, enjoy the fun photos me and Aaron captured that day! ♥ :)

FUN, FUN, and FUN!!!!!!! Nikki and Rich were one of the most down for anything couples I have ever met! So playful, spunky and youthful like myself we were a perfect match and had THE most amazing time working together! I had been conversing and planning with the both of them via email and phone since they are not from here and the day we were able to finally meet in person it was as if I was meeting with an old friend. This couple beaming with excitement about their wedding clearly shows in EVERY picture I captured on that day. The energy was always in full mode and despite being on the go literally all day, they never lost any ounce of energy and had a wonderful time celebrating their beautiful Hawaii wedding. We also had a lot of fun together POST wedding day because we did a trash the dress session together which I will post up in a couple of days. Nikki and Rich it was an absolute delight working with the both of you and I don't think I can even call it "working" since we had SO much fun together. I wish you both a long and happy life together back in NV and I hope you will come back to visit Hawaii again! Capturing your youthful and playful love for each other was such a treat for me and you have spoiled me and my camera! lol ♥ you both and thank you again for allowing me to be apart of your day and getting to know you both!

This was a very exciting engagement session for me... my very first engagement session in another state! :) The beautiful San Francisco!! AND the best part? It was with my cousin and her fiance!!! It was 6th grade when I last visited LA and my cousin and I were singing and making our own choreography to Lion King (thats when lion king JUST came out in theaters, we're so old!! lol) on the street in front of her house. And now here I am at 25 years old, going to be heading back to LA after 14 years and I will be covering her and Rick's wedding in November. :) Both HUGE baseball fans they will be having a baseball themed wedding on the actual baseball field!! :D :D Couldn't be more excited, honored, and privileged that she and Rick wanted me to cover their wedding and fly me over. ♥ you guys and see you in November!!
